CHADRON, Neb. – Chadron State College hosted the annual Western District History Day March 4. A variety of categories were offered for high school and middle school student competitors. The top three winners in each category will advance to the Nebraska state contest in Lincoln on April 25. The National History Day theme is Turning Points in History.
Dr. Sam Herley, CSC Assistant Professor of History and coordinator of the contest, said the entries were high quality and he is pleased that all the competitors will have the chance to compete at the state level.
