Ramona Graham-Dorris (1932 - 2021)

Ramona Graham-Dorris, Born on June 6th, 1932 at the Boots family home south of Ashby, Ne. to Thomas Arthur Boots and Anna Melinda (Olsen) Boots. Ramona was the 10th child the couple was blessed with, which included 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

Ramona lived at the Boots home with her parents and attended school until the age of 10 when her family moved to Bingham, Ne. where they lived until Ramona’s graduation from high school.

On June 1st, 1949 she was wed to Roy W. Graham of Ellsworth, Ne.  The couple welcomed two children into the world. Bruce W. Graham and David L. Graham. Ramona worked for the family business until she became the Postmaster in Ellsworth in 1960 and worked until her retirement on June 6th, 1990.

After the death of Roy W. Graham on November 18th, 1997 Ramona moved to Lemoyne, Ne. in the spring of 1999.  She was remarried on February 14th, 2000 to Wilton Dorris they lived in Lemoyne, Ne. Wilton passed away November 1st, 2019.

She was preceded in death by both her parents (Thomas Arthur and Anna Melinda) and all her nine siblings Sanford Boots (Lillian), Charles “Artie” Boots (Arlene), Marvin Boots (Ethel), Eugene Boots (Bette), Gerald Boots (Ester), Bernard Boots (Edna), Agnes Christensen (Edward), Alma Leistritz (Edward "Ed), Iris Hennigh (Clarence), her husbands, both Roy W. Graham and Wilton Dorris, and 1 great grandchild Reaghan Graham.

Family she left to mourn include Sister-in-law Bette, Sons Bruce (Stephanie) and David (Kay). Her five  grandchildren Paige Feddersen (Dave), Dustin Graham, Jeramy Graham, Tanner Graham and Kalee Sabata ( Mark). Her 7 Great Grandchildren Caitlin Feddersen, Jack Feddersen, Lena Sabata, Carson Graham, Noah Sabata, Braelynn Graham, and  Rosalee Graham. She also left behind numerous loved  nieces, and nephews along with many beloved Friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Romona’s request at the Lemoyne Senior Center on October 10th, 2021at 12:30p.m.  A Private Burial service will be held at a later date.
