Tornado Warning issued for Kimball County

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...

Northeastern Kimball County in the Panhandle of Nebraska...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 444 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

was located near Oliver Reservoir, or 8 miles northwest of Kimball,

moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.

Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree

damage is likely.

Kimball around 455 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include

Kimball County Fairgrounds.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 20 and

27.
