A Burlington Northern Santa-Fe (BNSF) train carrying coal derailed in Scotts Bluff County on Sept. 25.
A total of 16 railcars derailed near County Road 36 and County Road U at approximately 7 a.m.
"There were no injuries to our crew, BNSF Senior Director of External Communications Amy Casas said. "The site was cleaned up and our operations through that location have resumed."
Casas said the cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
