Louise Abbott passed away surrounded by the love of her family, after her final fight with cancer on December 29, 2020.
She was born June 3, 1936 in Farwell, Nebraska to Louis and Adelaide (Jehorek) Sawicki. In 1954 she graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Grand Island, NE.
On October 15, 1955 she was united in marriage to Don Abbott. To this union four children, Doug, Donna, Dan and Kris were born.
She is survived by her children, Donna (David) Pearse and Dan (Marilyn) Abbott of Alliance, and Kris (Tim) Wallace of Lincoln, NE, her grandchildren, Christopher Pearse, Carly (Jeremiah) Roberts, Reese Wallace, Emily Wallace, Brian (Jess) Abbott and Kindrea Abbott, her great-grandchildren, Graylee and Harlan Roberts. She is also survived by her brother, Archie Sawicki of Grand Island, NE.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Don, her son, Doug, her sister, Ramona and her brother, Richard.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
