The Alliance Band Parents are organizing the Annual Heritage Days Road Run and Walk.
All proceeds will be used to help band students pay for the band trip and other various out of town band performances.
It will be held Saturday, July 17 at 7 a.m. at Bulldog Stadium in Alliance.
Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. the day of the race. Pre-registrations are available at the Alliance Chamber of Commerce at 305 Box Butte Ave, (308) 762-1520.
Medals for first, second and third places will be awarded to all groups in the 5K and 10K races.
The entry fee is $25 for the run and includes a T-shirt and refreshments after the race.
