A Morrill County teen died after a single-vehicle rollover accident.
At approximately 8 p.m. on Aug. 7 Morrill County authorities were dispatched to County Road 101, 6 miles northeast of Bridgeport to a single-vehicle rollover accident.
Two male juveniles, ages 17 and 16, were returning home from work traveling south on County Road 101 when they approached a curve and lost control of the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was transported to Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, where he was treated and released.
The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries.
"Restraints appeared to be in use and neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor," Morrill County Attorney Travis Rodak said.
The Morrill County Sheriff’s Office, Morrill County Advanced Life Support (ALS), Broadwater Fire Department, Bridgeport Fire Department and Air Link assisted with the accident.
No names have been released at this time.
