Alliance, NE – The Carnegie Arts Center will be painting decorative crosswalks at three local school intersections. The following crosswalks will be painted:
- Grandview Elementary - 7th Street & Grand Avenue
- Emerson Elementary – 8th Street & Black Hills Avenue
- St. Agnes Academy – 11th Street & Big Horn Avenue
To allow for painting and drying time, the following temporary closures will be in place
- St. Agnes Crosswalk (11th Street & Big Horn Avenue) will be closed August 2-4, 2025
- Grandview and Emerson Crosswalks (7th Street & Grand Avenue and 8th & Black Hills Avenue) will be closed August 3-5, 2025
Please use caution when traveling in these areas and follow posted detour signs as need. The City appreciates the public’s patience as this creative improvement is made to enhance both safety and community spirit.
