There were multiple accidents in Western Nebraska on Saturday due to snow covered roads and dangerous conditions.
The Kimball County Sheriff's Department reported a double fatality accident in Kimball County on Saturday evening. Details have not been released as of Sunday afternoon, but I80 was closed from Pine Bluffs to Kimball due to the accidents.
No information on the two fatalities is available, but authorities do say that the two fatalities are not local to the area.
Kimball County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Bushnell Fire Department, Kimball Fire Department, Kimball EMS, Nebraska Road Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Kimball Police Department, as well as Wyoming Law Enforcement and Emergency Services.
