Nathan Tyler Cole (2001 - 2023)

Nathan Tyler Cole, 22, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Box Butte General Hospital in Alliance, Nebraska.

He was born February 15, 2001 in Decatur, Texas to Allen and Alinda (Cooper) Cole.

Nathan loved the outdoors and loved traveling while growing up.  He loved animals, especially his dogs Cooper, Aspen and Ruby.  He loved to paint and draw.

He especially loved his family.  He loved his fiancée Liz with a pure love and was always there for her.  He was so proud of his baby girls, Luna and River, and they adored him.

Nathan had been working for his father as a plumber’s assistant.  He learned plumbing so quick and effortlessly, as he had always learned learned anything quickly.

He is survived by his fiancé, Elizabeth Garza of Lakeside, NE; his daughters, Luna Cole and River Cole, both of Lakeside, NE; his parents, Allen and Alinda Cole of Alliance, NE; his fiancé’s parents, Melody Gahona and Carl Stewart, both of Houston, TX; his grandparents, Darla (Rick) Strickland of Bowie, TX, Johnny Cole of Sunset, TX, and Adele Duran of Alliance, NE.  He is also survived by his aunt, Staci (Ray) Sanders of Boyd, TX; his uncle, John (Amber) Hambrick of Wylie, TX; friends, Austen Tietz of Poskin, WI, Ernesto Urban of Scottsbluff, NE and Neil Nepper of Alliance; his fur babies, Cooper, Aspen, and Ruby; and many more extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Katlyn Cole and Emily Cooper; his grandparents, Danny Cooper and Linda Seaton; and his great-grandparents, Willie Hatley and Vessie Adams, A.J. and Doris Watson and Opal Hatley

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel.  Pastor Jim Settle will officiate.  Cremation will follow the services.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  The family will be present to greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nathans name will benefit animal shelters and can be sent in care of the family to, 723 Yellowstone, Alliance, Nebraska, 69301.
