KEARNEY, Neb. — Nebraska NetFest, a weekend of exciting competition in volleyball and pickleball, will take place this weekend, October 17-19, in Kearney.
The NetFest Singles & Mixed Doubles Pickleball Championships will begin Friday, Oct. 17, with Singles competition, followed by Mixed Doubles on Saturday and Sunday. A total of 48 players are registered to participate.
The NetFest Volleyball State Championships will welcome 72 teams. Teams in the 3rd-6th divisions will compete in a one-day tournament on Saturday, followed by the 7th/8th division on Sunday.
The brand-new Kearney SportsPlex will serve as the venue for both events. For schedules and more information, visit NebraskaSportsCouncil.com.
Nebraska NetFest Pickleball and Volleyball is presented by Visit Kearney and hosted by Kearney SportsPlex and the City of Kearney Park and Recreation. Nebraska NetFest is organized by the Nebraska Sports Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality competition for amateur athletes of all ages and skill levels while promoting healthy and active lifestyles.
