WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Jan. 20 and 21, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) will visit Columbus and Grand Island to host "Working Families Tax Cuts" roundtables and tour the Grand Island VA Medical Center.

During the roundtables, Senator Ricketts will discuss the impact of the recently passed Working Families Tax Cuts, which prevented a significant tax hike on Nebraska families. Key provisions include the expansion of the Child Tax Credit, permanent exemptions for the Death Tax to protect family farms, and the elimination of federal taxes on tips and overtime.
