Alliance American Legion Post #7 along with the Box Butte County Veteran's Service Office will sponsor a Veteran's Day Parade Saturday, November 5 in Alliance. The parade will begin at 11 am, at 14th and Box Butte Avenue, near Alliance High School and proceed south along Box Butte Ave. to 4th Street.
All veteran's are encouraged to walk or ride in the parade and any local businesses, groups, organizations or individuals are welcome to show their support for our vteran's , by entering the parade. Entries should be in by November 1, but will be taken up to 9 am the day of the parade. To enter contact the Box Butte County Veteran Service Office at 524 Box Butte Ave. or call 308-762-4154. No candy may be thrown from floats, but may be handed out.
Citizens are welcome to line both sides of Box Butte Ave. A public address announcer will be located near the Veteran's Memorial at the courthouse.
