Plummer Insurance – an independent insurance agency with 10 locations across western Nebraska and northern Colorado – has announced that the agency has been inducted into the Nationwide Insurance Agribusiness FAST Track Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is an exclusive recognition reserved for agencies that have demonstrated sustained excellence in serving farm and ranch clients.

Hall of Fame status is not earned through the results of a single standout year. To qualify, an agency must earn Nationwide’s FAST Track recognition for 10 consecutive years – demonstrating a decade of consistent performance, agricultural insurance expertise and commitment to the farmers and ranchers it serves.

With its 2026 induction, Plummer Insurance becomes one of only 15 agencies nationwide to have been inducted into the FAST Track Hall of Fame since the recognition was established in 2015.

“Being recognized in Nationwide’s Hall of Fame is a tremendous honor, but this achievement is really a reflection of the partnership we’ve built together over many years,” said Andrew Plummer, President and CEO of Plummer Insurance. “Nationwide’s commitment to agriculture, the relationships we’ve developed with their team, and the trust our farm and ranch clients place in both of us have made this possible. We’re grateful to be part of an organization that shares our long-term commitment to serving rural America.”

For Plummer Insurance, the recognition represents more than production or growth. Qualifying for FAST Track for 10 consecutive years has required the agency to consistently serve the changing needs of agricultural operations while maintaining the personal relationships that have long been central to the agency.

Headquartered in Bridgeport, Nebraska, Plummer Insurance has deep roots in the agricultural communities it serves. The agency works with farmers, ranchers and agribusinesses throughout the region, combining specialized agricultural insurance expertise with the personal service of a locally owned, independent agency.

The FAST Track Hall of Fame recognizes agencies that have sustained that commitment at a high level year after year. With its induction, Plummer Insurance joins a select group of agencies from across the country that have achieved the distinction.

For Plummer, the significance of the award ultimately comes back to the people and communities the agency serves.

“This isn’t something one person accomplishes,” Plummer said. “Ten consecutive years requires consistency from an entire team. Our people care deeply about agriculture and about the communities we serve. I’m incredibly proud of what they’ve accomplished, and I’m especially grateful to the farmers and ranchers who have trusted our agency over the years. Without that trust, none of this would be possible.”

Nationwide Agribusiness has a long history of serving America’s agricultural community, and Plummer Insurance’s relationship with the company has allowed the agency to pair local knowledge and personal relationships with the resources and capabilities of a national farm insurance carrier.

For the agents who work directly with agricultural clients every day, that relationship provides an important foundation for serving operations whose insurance needs can vary considerably from one farm or ranch to the next.

“Our farm, ranch and commercial agricultural clients put a tremendous amount of trust in Plummer Insurance, and we take that responsibility seriously,” said Steve Jobman, Farm & Ranch Agent at Plummer Insurance. “In turn, we need carrier partners we can trust to help us protect what our clients have worked generations to build. Nationwide Ag understands agriculture and gives us the flexibility to tailor coverage to the unique needs of each operation. Just as importantly, they’ve consistently demonstrated a commitment to our clients and to the farm and ranch families we serve. That kind of partnership is a big part of what has made our relationship with Nationwide so successful over the years.”

That partnership becomes particularly important when a client experiences a loss. Plummer Insurance works closely with Nationwide’s farm claims team throughout the claims process, giving the agency another opportunity to advocate for its clients when they need it most.

“I really enjoy working with Nationwide’s farm claim adjusters,” said Emily Erdman, Claims Advocate at Plummer Insurance. “They are responsive, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or provide updates on a claim. That level of service makes my job easier and, more importantly, helps us take better care of our clients. Relationships like this are a big part of why our partnership with Nationwide has been so successful over the years, and it makes this Hall of Fame recognition even more meaningful.”

Plummer Insurance was formally recognized on September 17 during a special Hall of Fame reception at Hotel 21 in Gering, Nebraska hosted by Nationwide Agribusiness. Leaders from Nationwide’s farm division traveled to the area to join the local Nationwide team in celebrating the agency’s induction.

Nearly the entire Plummer Insurance staff attended the event, making the recognition especially meaningful for the team whose collective efforts helped the agency achieve the milestone.

The celebration brought together the people behind a relationship that has been built over many years – Plummer Insurance staff who work directly with agricultural clients, the Nationwide professionals who support those accounts, and leaders from both organizations.

For Plummer Insurance, the Hall of Fame induction serves not only as recognition of the past 10 years, but also as a reflection of the agency’s continued commitment to agriculture and the rural communities it serves.
