Three students from Box Butte County were recently selected by a competitive audition to be a part of the University of Nebraska-Kearney Wind Ensemble for fall 2023.
Alliance's Courtney Cox is in the Flute/Piccolo group, In the Bass Clarinet group is Hemingford's Kylie Mendiola-Ozuna and Alliance's Aiden Zaro is in the Percussion group.
The 48-member group will perform 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and Nov. 30 in the Fine Arts Recital Hall on campus. Both concerts are free and open to the public.
