The Panhandle Partnership Respite Program operated through Western Community Health Resources is offering four Fun Day Activities for children with special needs and their siblings to participate in. Adults with intellectual developmental disabilities are also welcomed to attend.
The events provide an opportunity for recreation, socialization and a chance for families to learn more about respite. Registration is required in order to participate.

A Day at the Fort

Respite is a short break for families caring for someone at home who has special needs. Special needs can be developmental delays, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or a mental health diagnosis.
Although these events are for children with special needs and their siblings or adults with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities, the Lifespan Respite Network serves individuals of all ages.
