Harrison, Neb. – Agate Fossil Beds National Monument will offer a beaded ornament class on November 9, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the monument visitor center, located at 301 River Road, Harrison Nebraska, 69346 Harmony Star Straub is a local Lakota artist from Crawford, NE, and has been beading for over 35 years. She learned at the table of her beloved grandmother who taught her the old ways of beading. She loves sharing her passion with others. There will be four class times: 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Reservations are available for five slots at each class with two walk-ins making seven each session.
