Sheridan County, NE. — Northwest Community Action Partnership (NCAP) is pleased to announce the transition of Sheridan County Public Transportation System to Senior Services, Inc. effective July 1, 2021.
“NCAP has done a great job managing the transportation system in Sheridan County since its inception, but the programs they offer have expanded in the past few years. Senior Services Inc. provides essential transportation throughout the panhandle, and are equipped to expand services in Sheridan County” says James Krotz, Sheridan County Commissioner and NCAP Board of Directors member.
NCAP and Senior Services have worked together to ensure a smooth transition of service to ensure this essential services is in place for all of Sheridan County residents.
Senior Services, Inc. operates Panhandle Transit Services, which offers local and intercity bus transportation services. They strive to assist individuals beyond the boundaries of traditional rural public transit, to reach the closest public transportation services available and fill transportation gaps when other transportation services are unavailable.
