At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 3 the Alliance Police Department was called to a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of East 3rd&nbsp;Street and Yellowstone Avenue.&nbsp;

"During the course of our investigation it was determined that one of the vehicles left its traffic lane and collided with the second vehicle," Alliance Police Officer David LaDuke said. "This vehicle also collided with a City of Alliance electrical pole."

Both drivers were transported to Box Butte General Hospital.

The vehicles in the accident sustained severe damage and were towed from the scene.

LaDuke said no citations have been issued as of Feb. 4.

The Alliance Police Department was assisted by Alliance EMS.&nbsp;
