Cindy, (Sue) Silvester, 67 of Gering passed away on December 14 at regional West hospital surrounded by family and friends.
Cindy was born July 14, 1956 to Lee and Clara Silvester in Sidney Ne where she grew up and graduated in 1974 from Sidney high school. She attended one year of college at the University of Nebraska but then decided to start her family having her first daughter in 1977 and her second in 1988.
Throughout her life she walked several career paths but being a dispatcher and nurse were her favorite. She loved most of her life in Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado as well as a leap of faith adventure to Florida for a year.
Cindy will be most remembered for her listening ear, caring heart and infectious sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Shelly.
She is survived by her daughter Jaime (Wes Smith) of Alliance, grandchildren Kassie, Conner and Bailey Smith of Verona North Carolina and two grandsons Jensen and Logan Klohr of Colorado. As well as countless friends, her church family and her beloved fur baby Spencer.
