HEMINGFORD, Neb. — The ongoing Hemingford Street Project is progressing to Kearny Street, between Cheyenne Avenue and Sidney Avenue Monday September 16, as part of continued efforts to improve local infrastructure. Managed by Eric Reichart Construction, this phase of the project will involve extensive street demolition and paving.

Cheyenne Avenue, from Miles Street to Ord Street, will remain closed while newly laid concrete cures. Construction will take place daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Residents and local businesses are encouraged to plan their parking accordingly, as street access will be limited during these hours.

"We understand this may cause some inconvenience and appreciate the community’s patience as we work to enhance Hemingford’s roads for the future", said a spokesperson for the Hemingford Public Works Department.
