Box Butte County is holding a flu shot clinic for the public and their staff this week. Jessica Davies is the Assistant Health Director of the Panhandle Public Health District, and she talked to Panhandle Post about the clinic.
"We just want to make sure people are protected this winter respiratory season, and they stay healthy from all those respiratory things that are circulating," Davies said.
Flu and COVID shots will be available on Wednesday Nov. 1 from Noon-3 pm. at the former Public Defender's office at 107 E 5th St in Alliance.
Davies says that the public is encouraged to bring their insurance card, Medicare card, or a front and back copy of the card. However, those who do not have insurance will not be turned away as they can receive the shots as well.
