Bob Peltz will have his work on display in the upper Garwood and Skala Galleries at the Carnegie Arts Center. The exhibit will be up from January 11th until February 12. His artist reception is tentatively scheduled for February 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Please join us in celebrating this wonderful local artist.
Peltz has been Carnegie’s youth art camp instructor for over ten years. He has successfully worked in numerous art fields, including impressionistic painting, abstract design, illustration, portraiture, and cartooning. He is a retired creative director for an advertising firm in Denver, CO working for major corporations. His clients have included the United States Air Force, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, AT&T and United Way. He has won three international and seven national awards for his art, including a White House award for illustration and two international Summit Awards for design. We are fortunate to have him involved with our organization. His teaching skills are excellent and his dedication to Carnegie’s vision is extraordinary.
January 8 will be the last day to see Linda Lacy’s exhibit “Pottery and Paintings".
Lacy is the owner of Calinda’s Pot shop & Art Gallery in Ashby, NE. Don’t miss seeing this wonderful exhibit of familiar landscapes, wildlife, and pottery. And if you can’t make it by, be sure to check out her shop to visit or set a fun day of pottery making and delicious drinks!
January 11 Carnegie will be displaying Sandi Blankenship’s fourth grade student work in the studio gallery. Their exhibit will be on display until February 19. Due to Covid, these students were unable to come on their annual 4th grade school tour last January. We are excited to have them come for a makeup tour and class with artist Robert Peltz.
