LINCOLN, Neb. — Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol will be monitoring for impaired and dangerous driving surrounding a large concert event at Memorial Stadium this weekend.
Zach Bryan is scheduled to perform at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln tomorrow, April 25. All attendees are encouraged to plan ahead to have a sober driver after the concert.
“Driving impaired increases risk for yourself and everyone else on the road,” said Colonel Bryan Waugh, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol. “No matter what the event is, whether it’s a huge concert or a small gathering, always make the decision to have a sober driver.”
NSP also advises drivers to be vigilant for pedestrians around Memorial Stadium before and after the concert. This effort is made possible thanks in part to grant funding from the Nebraska Department of Transportation – Highway Safety Office.
