Alliance, NE – The Knight Museum & Sandhills Center invites the public to a special evening program exploring the history and legacy of one of Nebraska's most influential ranching operations.

On Thursday, June 25, at 5:30 p.m., ranch historian and Spade Ranch expert Steve Cleveland will present a 30-minute program highlighting the people, places, and stories that helped shape the legendary Spade Ranch and its impact on the Sandhills region.

Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a question-and- answer session with Cleveland and continue exploring the museum's newly installed Spade Ranch interpretive panel series.

This program marks the first of three presentations scheduled throughout the summer. Additional programs featuring Steve Cleveland will be held in July and August, each offering visitors an opportunity to delve deeper into the stories, people, and history connected to the Spade Ranch.

The exhibit examines the history of the Spade Ranch, life on the ranch, notable individuals connected to its operation, and the lasting influence the ranch had on western Nebraska. Through historic photographs, maps, and interpretive content, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of this important chapter of regional history.

The program will be held at the Knight Museum & Sandhills Center, 908 Yellowstone Avenue in Alliance, and is open to the public.
