Carnegie Arts Center, Alliance Tourism launch 'Chalk The Block'

CHALK THE BLOCK is on! The Carnegie Arts Center and Alliance Tourism have teamed up to present, Chalk the Block art contest. The contest is online and anyone can enter!  There are six categories for ages. Categories are: Pre-K, K-2nd, 3-5th, 6-8th, Highschool, and Adult. Dairy Queen has generously donated five $25 dollar gift certificates for all youth categories. The Gathering Spot has donated a $50 gift certificate for the adult category.

HOW TO ENTER:
Step 1. Create a chalk drawing of any imagery of your choosing on your sidewalk/ driveway.
Step 2. Take one photo of your favorite chalk drawing you made
Step 3. Go to Carnegie's Event page of FB called "CAC Chalk the Block"
Step 4. Post a picture of the chalk drawing with artists name, current age group, title of artwork, and a little quote about the piece
Step 5. THAT'S IT!!!

RULES:
1. An artist is limited to just one entry. (if you accidentally enter more than once we will only consider your earliest submission)
2. An artist can submit only one picture of their artwork.
3. An artist has until the 15th to submit their entry. One entry accepted per the whole month the contest runs.
4. After final day for entries on July 15th Carnegie will create a public forum for voting to decide award winners in each age group.
