Panhandlepost News received word this morning of a&nbsp; situation in both Alliance and Hemingford.&nbsp;

The Alliance Police Department website issued this statement earlier this morning.

A potential threat was reported to APD and BBCSO.&nbsp; Due to the nature of the report the following schools went into “secure” in accordance to the Standard Response Protocol,&nbsp; Alliance High School,&nbsp; Alliance Middle School, and St. Agnes Academy.&nbsp;

The report was investigated by law enforcement. The threat was unfounded and the schools were given an all clear.&nbsp;
