MILLS, Wyo.&nbsp;—&nbsp;The Bureau of Reclamation has reopened the access road to the Anchor Reservoir Campground.&nbsp;&nbsp;The road was badly damaged by flood waters at the Owl Creek Middle Fork crossing on June 12.&nbsp;The crossing was temporarily impassable to vehicular traffic, and repairs were recently completed.&nbsp;

Anchor Dam and Reservoir are features of the Owl Creek Unit in Hot Springs County, approximately 35 miles west of Thermopolis&nbsp;via highways 120 and 170. The site is very remote and has a vault toilet and primitive camping.&nbsp;

Reclamation has four&nbsp;main managing partners between 19 recreation areas in Wyoming, with more than 100,000 visitors just at our state park areas every year.&nbsp;
