ALLIANCE, Neb. – The City of Alliance, Nebraska will be offering eight tracts of grazing land for lease at a public auction on April 1, 2026 at 10 a.m., which will be held at the Alliance Learning Center Community Room, 1750 Sweetwater Ave, Alliance, Nebraska.
The tracts to be leased are located in Sections 7, 17, 18, 19, and 20, Township 24 North, Range 47 West of the 6th P.M., and Sections 12, 13 and 24, Township 24 North, Range 48 West of the 6th P.M., all in Box Butte County, Nebraska. Maps, legal descriptions, stocking rates and sample leases for each tract are available in the Airport Director’s Office at the Airport Terminal Building, 5631 Sarpy Rd, Alliance, Nebraska.
The tracts will be leased to the highest responsible bidder for five (5) consecutive terms. The tracts will be leased for the purposes of livestock grazing or producing hay. Grazing terms will be from May 15 to Sept. 30. Minimum bids will be required for each tract. The day of the auction, the successful bidder for each tract will be required to put down 10 percent of the first year’s rent as a deposit. If the bid is withdrawn in the future for any reason, the bidder will forfeit this deposit.
Right is reserved in the interest of the City to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
