John G. Tucker, 78, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Western Nebraska Veterans Home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

He was born April 10, 1943 in Alliance to Marion Francis and Dorothy Dale (Edelman) Tucker. John served in the U.S. Army from August 1964 to August 1966.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; .

Following his honorable discharge he returned to Alliance and worked with his father at Tuck’s Welding.&nbsp; John eventually took over the business following his father’s retirement and continued until his own retirement.&nbsp;

John is survived by his brothers, Earl (Linda) Tucker and Donald Tucker of Alliance, his sisters, Georgana Epperson of Matthews, VA and Marian Christophers of Douglas, WY.&nbsp; He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Sharon Batt, Joann Aguallo and Dorothy Hall.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, October 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery at Alliance.
