The Alliance Police Department and Box Butte County Sheriff’s Office have partnered with Dairy Queen for a new citizen community program.

Both law enforcement agencies have a desire to serve the community and enjoy interacting with law abiding citizens.

The Dairy Queen has provided reward cards to both agencies awarding a free small blizzard to individuals when an officer or deputy contact them for a good deed.

Whether it’s children or adults, if an individual is observed contributing to the community  they may receive a card.

“It’s a delight to work in tandem with Sheriff Mowry who shares the vision of rewarding the contributors to a great community," Alliance Police Chief Philip Lukens said. "We are grateful for the generosity from Dairy Queen allowing for such a program.”
