Alliance, NE – The City of Alliance would like to notify residents of temporary access changes to the Utility Office beginning Wednesday, June 17th, due to work being performed by Black Hills Energy in the alleyway adjacent to City Hall.
Construction activity is expected to impact traffic flow in the alley, and the east end of the alley near Laramie Avenue may be completely closed at times. As a result, vehicle traffic may be required to exit toward 3rd Street, creating limited access to the rear parking area.
To help ensure safe and convenient access to Utility Office services during the construction period, customers are encouraged to park along Laramie Avenue and enter City Hall through the front doors. From there, visitors may proceed through the gymnasium to reach the Utility Office.
The City appreciates the public's patience and understanding while this work is being completed.
These temporary accommodations will help minimize disruptions and maintain safe access for residents conducting Utility Office business.
