A BBQ restaurant is coming to Alliance, as Golden Hour BBQ will be taking the place if Newberry’s in downtown Alliance was sold recently.
At last week’s City Council meeting they heard a liquor license application for Golden Hour BBQ and Alliance City Manager Seth Sorensen comments on the addition of the restaurant.
"It's very exciting, it sounds like they're coming back home to Alliance and we really appreciate them deciding to establish their business here," Sorensen said. "It'll be great to have a BBQ place and I believe they will continue to offer BBQ, coffee and other sundries."
The Council approved both the liquor license and manager application, and Sorensen says those both now go to the state for consideration.
