Alliance High Students Earn Honors at Nebraska FBLA Leadership Conference

LINCOLN, Neb.  — Alliance High School students brought home a host of awards from the Nebraska FBLA State Leadership Conference held last week in Lincoln, showcasing their skills across a wide range of business-related competitions.

Several students earned top-10 finishes, with standout performances from Emily McCune, who placed 5th in Accounting II, 8th in Financial Statement Analysis, and 8th in Word Processing. McCune was also part of a strong showing in multiple categories.

Chili Potmesil also had an impressive showing, earning 8th in Broadcast Journalism, 6th in Journalism, and 5th in Business Communications. Potmesil received additional honorable mentions in Advertising (13th) and worked alongside Kinzie Bridge, who placed 4th in Business Communications and earned an honorable mention in Personal Finance (28th).

In team events, Isaac Baker, Tremaine Redbear, and Kade Rickey received an honorable mention for their Digital Video Production entry, placing 9th overall.

Other recognitions included Henry Hoff with an 8th-place finish in Advertising and Mia Gomez, who earned honorable mention in Introduction to Business Communications (17th).

The Nebraska FBLA State Leadership Conference is an annual event that draws students from across the state to compete in business and leadership events, preparing them for future careers in business, finance, communications and more.
