Panhandle firefighters are continuing to battle the Post Fire 5 miles southwest of Crawford.
The fire started on Sept. 13 and has burned 5,444 acres.

As of 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19 the fire is 50% contained.
There is currently 162 fire personnel on scene assisting with the fire.
The pre-evacuation notice has been removed for the area between Highway 20 south and north of 4-Mile Road.
"We will be transitioning from the Type 3 back to a Type 4 team over the next 24 hours," Wildlife Biologist -Pine Ridge Ranger District Erin Considine said.
