COLUMBUS, Neb. – Central Community College forward Lexi Fiscus has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Women’s Basketball All-American 3rd Team.
The sophomore started all 30 games of the 2025-26 season and averaged a double-double with 20.3 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Fiscus scored a season-high 44 points in CCC’s final game of the season which pushed her over the 1,000-career-point plateau. She leaves CCC as the record holder for single-game and career points.
“It’s cool and special after working so hard to get some reward here and there,” said Fiscus, who credited her teammates. “I wouldn’t have been able to score the points if I didn’t have my team there. They had a lot of trust in me and I had a lot of trust in them.”
CCC women’s basketball coach Kasi Stoltz said Fiscus’ team-first mentality and dedication to excellence embody what it means to be an NJCAA All-American student-athlete.
“Lexi Fiscus earned 3rd Team All-American honors through her outstanding performance, consistency and impact on both ends of the floor,” said Kasi Stoltz, CCC women’s basketball coach. “Throughout the season, Lexi proved to be a key contributor by showcasing her ability to score, defend and make winning plays in crucial moments.”
Fiscus is an ag business major and will graduate from CCC in May. She said she will return to Bayard and farm and ranch with her family.
“I’ve had a great time at CCC,” Fiscus said. “I’ve met some of my best friends that will be my friends for the rest of my life. It’s just been a great experience with lots of opportunities.”
