The Alliance Police Department is issuing a public safety alert regarding recent vehicle burglary activity occurring at multiple locations throughout the city.
On June 20, 2026, the Alliance Police Department received reports of individuals attempting to enter vehicles in several neighborhoods. Home surveillance camera footage captured what appears to be two individuals wearing dark clothing and ski masks going door-to-door checking vehicle handles to determine if they are unlocked.
The following areas have been affected by this activity:
1400 Block of Colorado Avenue
1400 Block of Black Hills
Near 9th and Big Horn Ave
800 Block of Toluca
900 Block of Box Butte
Suspect Description:
Two individuals
Wearing dark clothing
Wearing ski masks
The Alliance Police Department reminds residents to take the following precautions:
Always lock your vehicle doors, even when parked in your driveway or garage.
Do not leave valuables visible inside your vehicle.
Remove keys, firearms, electronics, and other items of value from unattended vehicles.
Report any suspicious activity to the Alliance Police Department immediately.
