BNSF Railway will be closing down a road south of Crawford for track repair.

Sawlog Road between Crawford and Marsland will be closed on March 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"We have a large maintenance gang here that does some of our maintenance," BNSF Road Master Alliance/Edgemont Matt Ditzler said. "They're lifting the track through there. I have to pull that crossing so we can pull the track up higher off the ground.

Ditzler said there will be traffic delays.

"If anyone needs to go down Sawlog Road for any reason, we will not be able to get them across between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.," Ditzler said. "We will have a road closure and barricades there at the crossing. I'm going to talk to a local contractor to find out if I can get some kind of a sign to put out two miles out at the road so they know ahead of time."
