Doris Irene Doyle, 90, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at Highland Park Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska.
Memorial services will be Friday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel. Interment will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
She was born on August 14, 1929 to Amos and Ethel (Diamond) Taylor, in Bingham, Nebraska, one of seven girls. She graduated from the Bingham High School. Doris met and fell in love with Harley Doyle and the couple was married on December 15, 1951, at the First Christian Church Parsonage during a raging snow storm. They were blessed with 63 loving years together. During their years together they welcomed with love three children, Joyce (Bruce) Lundy of Alliance, Earl (Gaylene) Doyle of Forest, Virginia and Dale ( Vickie) Doyle of Vermillion, Minnesota, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Harley, her parents and her 6 sisters.
Doris was a devoted, loving and supportive wife and mother. She was a woman of faith, always willing to lend a helping hand. Doris was a member of the Alliance Methodist Church, Eagles Lady's Auxiliary, Golden Age Group, RSVP Group and Royal Neighbors of America.
