Christine Prawel, 58 lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 in Alliance, NE.
She had an enduring faith and love for God as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and found comfort in the Bible's promise of the time when all things will be made new and "he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Rev 21:4
She is survived by her mother, Delores Butler, and brother, Bruce (Laura) Crumpacker along with uncles, aunts and cousins. Christine was preceded in death by her father, Charles Crumpacker.
Twice married and divorced, she had no children but she was thought of as “Auntie" by many and enjoyed a rapport with children and teenagers.
Her interests, abilities and work were diverse. She was an accomplished seamstress and tailor, bus driver and mechanic. She also worked for the Colorado State Parks as a Park Ranger and Wildlife Tech for the Colorado Division of Wildlife. She held other positions as well through the years but most recently, was a caregiver for her mother.
She loved nature, fishing, hiking, hunting, camping, photography, gardening, sewing and many crafts.
We will keep her tucked safely in our hearts as we long for the time we will see her again in vibrant health.
