The Alliance Police Department responded to a reported fight at Dollar General.

Alliance Police Department Officers responded to Dollar General on Flack Avenue on Aug. 6 in the 9 a.m. hour for a reported fight in progress.

Upon arrival officers found no fight. The reporting party gave a description of the vehicle involved.

A third officer located the vehicle on East Third Street and Grand Avenue.

"All the occupants were identified and after getting their story they were released with no charges," said John Kiss, Alliance Police Chief. "It was found that two young children were in the vehicle with no car seats so the driver was cited."

Alliance police officers found car seats for the children and the parties involved were released without further incident.

The Box Butte County Sheriff's Office assisted in this situation.
