ALLIANCE, Neb. – The Knight Museum & Sandhills Center invites the public to a special Book Signing and Reading with Nebraska author Alan J. Bartels on Saturday, June 6, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Bartels, author of Secret Nebraska Sandhills: A Guide to the Weird, Wonderful, and Obscure, will share stories and insights from his book, which explores the unique landmarks, fascinating history, unusual attractions and hidden treasures found throughout Nebraska's Sandhills region.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear selected readings from the book, learn about the research and adventures behind its creation, and meet the author during a book-signing session following the presentation.
The event is free and open to the public. Copies of Secret Nebraska Sandhills will be available for purchase and signing.
