Weather permitting, work will begin March 13 on Interstate 80 at three locations, reference post 146.78, reference post 155.67, and reference post 173.90, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Van Kirk Sand & Gravel, Inc. of Sutton, Nebraska is the contractor for this project. Work includes grading, culverts, and seeding. Traffic will be maintained with intermittent lane closures. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is May 2023.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
