HEMINGFORD, Neb. — The 4th Annual 60’s Night in Hemingford will roll into downtown Friday, Aug. 15, bringing live music, classic vehicles and family fun to the 700 block of Box Butte Avenue.

The event, scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m., will feature cars, bikes, trucks and antique tractors. Vehicle registration is $10. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy live music from Keith Reid of the Crazy Louie Band.

Highlights include a hula hoop contest, a kids’ antique pedal tractor display and a chance to skate along to retro hits — participants are welcome to bring their roller skates. The American Legion will serve hot dogs and burgers in the beer garden.

No alcohol will be permitted on the street during the event, but is permitted in the beer garden.

60’s Night is free to attend and is sponsored by The Hemingford American Legion, MC Signs & Decals and MCT Trucking.
