Mitchell woman crashes into Scottsbluff building Thursday, SPD reports

There was an accident in Scottsbluff on Thursday afternoon where a vehicle went through the front window of a building.

The Scottsbluff Police Department issued a press release stating that they responded to the 1500 block of Broadway at 11:55 a.m. where they found a 2016 blue Ford Edge that went through the front window of 1507 Broadway.  78-year-old Patricia King of Mitchell was identified as the driver of the vehicle.

Police determined that the Ford Edge King was driving was pulling into a parking stall when the vehicle went over the curb and struck the building.

No one was in the building at the time, it appears that it took no structural damage.

King was transported to Regional West Medical Center by Valley Ambulance. The Scottsbluff Police Department was assisted by the Scottsbluff Fire Department and Valley Ambulance.
