Building Blocks Playschool held their ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday. Their mission is to provide a safe, loving, fun, and accepting environment for the future leaders of our community; and its vision is to be the greatest place to learn, play and grow. Parents can expect children to learn through a play-based curriculum.
In a previous article CEO Lori Mazanec said, “Box Butte General Hospital has been exploring options for adding a childcare center to help combat the healthcare workforce shortage, so the opportunity to collaborate with Shannon and Lighthouse Christian Daycare along with the grant award will allow for a fast track to expand childcare options for our team.
Adding childcare services to our organization allows us to provide another rung for staff retention and recruitment of essential healthcare workers, additionally expanding employment opportunities at BBGH. The Trustees have been completely supportive and understand the impact this will have.”
